Customer feedback, reviews, and order data consistently pointed to a clear friction point: while demand for Gratz equipment remained strong, the new three-month lead time still created hesitation for prospective buyers. Analysis of customer inquiries and support notes revealed a recurring request— customers wanted access to in-stock equipment that could ship quickly.
To test this opportunity, Marketing launched the “Available Now” initiative, a pilot program designed to validate demand for rapid-ship inventory while maintaining the brand’s visual and product standards. I developed a dedicated product experience that clearly differentiated these items from made-to-order equipment, including a custom landing page and reworked product imagery to accurately represent color options while preserving brand consistency despite faster production timelines.
The first release was intentionally limited to the U.S. market to control operational complexity and monitor fulfillment performance. International traffic was automatically redirected to an informational page explaining the pilot program and regional availability. This approach allowed us to validate demand and operational feasibility before expanding distribution.
Results from the pilot phase demonstrated strong market validation:
98% sell-through rate across the first batch of Available Now inventory
A second soft launch sold through more than 50% of inventory within weeks without email or social promotion
Expansion from U.S. only to North America and EU markets following successful operational validation
Clear confirmation that reduced lead times significantly increase purchase intent
Beyond revenue, the program provided valuable operational insight into inventory strategy, fulfillment capacity, and regional demand patterns, informing future decisions around stock allocation and production planning.
The success of Available Now demonstrated a meaningful opportunity to capture demand from customers who prioritize faster delivery while reinforcing the strength of the brand’s reputation in the Pilates equipment market. It established a scalable framework for balancing made-to-order craftsmanship with strategic in-stock offerings, expanding how the brand meets customer expectations while driving incremental sales.
To support the Available Now initiative, I led the photography and visual production required to accurately represent in-stock inventory online. Because customers select equipment based heavily on upholstery color and finish, it was critical that imagery remain consistent with the brand’s established product presentation while reflecting the exact units available for rapid shipment.
I photographed the equipment in-house and handled the full post-production workflow, including color correction, lighting adjustments, and detailed retouching to ensure upholstery tones remained accurate across digital displays. Images were then optimized for Shopify product pages, thumbnails, and responsive layouts, balancing high visual fidelity with performance requirements for web loading speed.
